Expert Injection of Facial Fillers in Montclair, New Jersey
Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® Silk
Are you concerned wrinkles and facial folds are making you look older than you feel? Have you spent enough money on expensive moisturizers that claim to remove wrinkles and just don’t work? What many of our facial renewal patients at Bond Plastic Surgery advise patients that the only way to fill a wrinkle is from the inside out with advanced dermal fillers; such as Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® Silk.
Restylane® is one of the world’s best-selling dermal filler! It is well-tolerated, non-surgical and restores facial volume by correcting moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds in the naso-labial lines (corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth), marionette lines (“comma” lines down from the corners of the mouth) and creases. Restylane® can also fill in the areas around under-eye “bags”) as well as “crow’s feet” lines.
Which Restylane® Injectable Gels are Offered by Dr. Bond?
Dermal fillers replace fullness and elasticity in the skin and underlying tissues. They contain no animal protein, and need no allergy testing since their main ingredient, hyaluronic acid is present in your body’s tissues. Over time, skin loses hyaluronic acid, collagen, elastin and fat is redistributed.
Restylane® can fill almost any wrinkle or area of underlying fat loss that occurs naturally with the progression of age, leaving the newly filled areas plumped from underneath, yet smooth on the surface.
Dr. Sheila Bond and the facial renewal professionals a at Bond Plastic Surgery offer the following line of Restylane® products:
Restylane® and Restylane-L® are for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® is formulated as a clear gel and uses a dual mechanism to correct wrinkles and folds.
Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine has the largest gel particles and its denser formulation is best for deep implantation into the deeper layer of skin. Restylane® Lyft is FDA-approved for the correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and to fill cheek depressions and augment the cheek to restore a more youthful facial contour.
Restylane® Defyne is FDA-approved for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate-to-severe deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.
Restylane® Refyne is FDA-approved for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds
Restylane® Silk is FDA-approved to enhance lips by plumping up thinning lips and smoothing wrinkles around the mouth. Its smooth texture is perfect for a subtle plumping of the lips or to fill in delicate skin areas under the eyes to camouflage under-eye “bags” or unsightly indentations.
Dr. Sheila Bond will discuss your facial renewal goal and recommend what Restylane® product is right for you.

Bye, Bye Bags – Restylane for Undereye Bags
A Staff Testimonial by Judyann Affronti
Looking in the mirror, as we ladies often do, we all feel that we’re holding up pretty well until that one day when we notice our eyes in a recent photo and ask, “Where did those BAGS come from?” Impossible as it seems, it had at last happened to me, the beginnings of the dreaded undereye bags. Working in the office, I knew that Dr. Sheila Bond injected Restylane into the “tear troughs” to fill the indented areas and virtually disguise the “bags”. She also mentioned that most patients “don’t feel a thing”. As most patients know, I’m no stranger to Restylane, which I profess to being one of 2 my best friends (the other is Dysport). While I refuse to flinch at the needle insertion in my nasolabials and marionette lines (it’s REALLY not that bad!), but the idea of that needle so close to the eyes was truly creeping me out.
But given the choice between keeping the undereye “bags” and getting needles stuck in them, vanity, of course, won out and there I was in the chair, Emla in my orbits and palms perspiring. I closed my eyes and felt some pressure, the tiniest pinch and in a few minutes, it was over. Initially, I had a bit of redness and what looked like a case of undereye measles (the filler is injected in small bumps that will shortly soften and blend together to fill the indented areas). By the next day, I could barely see where the bumps had been, everything had smoothed out, but remained raised enough to camouflage those nasty bags. Best of all, the procedure used very little filler, leaving some for perfecting other little areas of woe. Amazing!
Individual results may vary.
Dependent upon the specific type of Restylane® product, results can last from six months to eighteen months*. Also, depending on the type of product used and where it is injected affects the time results last. Dr. Bond will discuss with you the expected results and time period for optimal results.
